Tikka Masala Chicken

SERVES: 6 portions

RECIPE TIME: 2 hours 30 minutes

What you need:

  • 3 Cup Chicken
  • 1 Cup Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 2 Tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 Tsp Ginger
  • 1 Tsp Turmeric
  • 1 Tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 Tsp Cumin
  • 1 Tbsp Veggie Oil
  • ½ Cup Diced Onion
  • 2 Cup Marinara Sauce
  • 1 Cup Cream

What to do:

  1. Make sure you wash your hands before you begin.
  2. For the masala sauce, mix together yogurt, garlic, ginger, and spices and blend with a food processor until smooth. Pour the mixture into a bowl and add chicken, refrigerate and marinate for 2 hours.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet and cook onions until translucent. Stir in marinated chicken, marinara sauce, and cream.
  4. Bring mixture to a boil and reduce to medium heat. Simmer until sauce thickens and the chicken is fully cooked, approximately 30 minutes.
