What you need:
- 1 ½ Cup Brown Rice, Dry
- ¾ Cup Quinoa, Dry
- 2 Tbsp Veggie Oil
- ½ Cup Diced Onion
- 2 Tbsp Minced Garlic
- 3 Cup Veggie Stock
- 2 Bay Leaf
What to do:
- Make sure to wash your hands before you begin.
- Heat oil in a large pot and cook the onions and garlic until translucent.
- Add veggie stock, brown rice, quinoa and bay leaves, bring to a boil; cover with tight-fitting lid.
- Cook on low heat until rice and quinoa are tender and all the stock is absorbed, about 20-30 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let stand covered for about 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork.
