Philly Beef French Dip

SERVES: 6 portions

RECIPE TIME: 25–30 minutes

What you need:

  • 2 Cups Veggie Stock
  • 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1 Tsp Garlic Minced
  • 1 Tsp Thyme
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 3 Cup Shaved Beef
  • 1 Tbsp Garlic, Minced
  • 6 Whole Wheat Rolls, Sliced Open

What to do:

  1. In a small saucepan, heat broth over medium heat.
  2. Add soy sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic, and thyme. Stir and simmer for 5–7 minutes. Keep warm on low heat.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the shaved beef and garlic.
  5. Sauté for 2–3 minutes until just cooked through. Don’t overcook!
  6. Assemble the sandwiches and serve with the au jus on the side for dipping.
