What is your alarm clock usually set to from Monday to Friday? What about Saturday & Sunday?
Too early. 4:15 AM Monday to Friday. I sleep in on the weekends.
What is your favourite dish to eat or cook?
Anything fish or seafood.
What/who inspired your love of food and why?
My mother, she use to do catering, and I was the helper at a very young age. I was also inspired by TV celebrity chefs when I was young.
What are your interests outside of work?
I enjoy riding my motorcycle, and playing the drums and guitar.
Tell us about one of your favourite experiences working at Kids & Company
The team leaders are very understanding and supportive. There is no particular instance but on a daily basis, they are great to work for. I have worked in a few hotels, restaurants and banquet halls and I can say, the team leaders in the head office are the best people I have worked for.
What is something that a Kidco child has taught you?
Patience with all the centres. I don’t work directly with kids but you do need patience at times when dealing with 35 locations on a daily basis.
What’s for dinner tonight?
Hmmm. Looks like it’s going to be grilled rib eye steak and garlic shrimp.
